Learners took on everything from lighting and staging to last-minute changes, and handled it all like pros.
For some, this was their final performance with us, but there’s no doubt they’re heading for big things.
SCL College at AELP National Conference 2025
SCL College were proud to be invited to showcase our post-16 education provision at this year's AELP flagship event, the AELP National Conference 2025!
We showcased our 'College, done different' ethos through innovative sport and fitness activations in the Learn Zone, as well as a series of 3 incredible performances throughout the Skills & Grills evening reception from our SCL and KTCo Performing Arts learners.
On top of this amazing event, learners had an invaluable opportunity to spend time on our stand with Dame Kelly Holmes and share how our education programmes, with a difference, are truly transforming lives and shaping futures.
SCL College & PDA 1v1 Tournament
Learners from SCL College & Pro Direct Academy took part in an exciting internal 1v1 tournament, hosted by PDA at the Market Road centre in Islington, with the winner receiving a season long boot deal with New Balance.
Two of our SCL learners, both passionate content creators with strong social media followings, were given the opportunity to co-host the event, sharpening their presenting skills and expanding their reach through the global Pro:Direct Sport audience.

What an incredible few days connecting with current learners, valued partners, and so many prospective students at MOVE IT 2025!
We loved talking all things dance and sharing insights into our Diploma in Performing Arts, a programme that blends quality education with powerful enrichment, creating the perfect launchpad for a career in the creative industries.
A huge highlight was seeing our talented learners take to the stage, with KTCo and Eden learners shining on the Showcase Theatre stage, proudly representing SCL Creative College, and our amazing Dorset Foundation College performing on the Main Stage.
SCL College & NS RTC welcome Target Football
SCL College and North Somerset RTC recently welcomed prospective learners for the 25/26 Academic Year to their latest Open Day, offering a first-hand look at the full Football and Education Pathway.
Target Football will be providing innovative technology and performance support throughout the programme, including smart shinpads that track 16 key performance metrics. This data-driven approach will give learners valuable insights into their performance, helping them to develop both on and off the pitch using the same elite-level equipment and technology used by Premier League clubs.
This partnership reinforces our commitment to supporting the next generation of football talent through technology, education, and expert coaching.
